Canary Technologies is sunsetting our Travel Advisor Sensitive Data Management product. The product will no longer be available for use after April 30, 2026.
Why is this happening?
We’re deeply grateful for the trust you placed in Travel Advisor to support your client experience. This wasn’t an easy decision, but it allows us to focus our resources on enhancing our core platform to better serve the evolving needs of hoteliers. We understand this change may be challenging and regret any inconvenience it may cause you.
What happens on Apr 30, 2026?
As of April 30, 2026, the Travel Advisor website (https://travel.canarytechnologies.com) will no longer be accessible. Users will no longer be able to log in to access their accounts or information. Subscriptions will cancel automatically on April 30th.
Can I get an extension?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate extensions. We recommend that you arrange an alternate method of sensitive data management for your business in advance of April 30th.
Will I get a refund if I have already paid for the service past April 30, 2026?
Yes. We will do prorated refunds for paid time past April 30, 2026.

What about sensitive data and credit card info?
We are unable to export and provide you with your clients’ credit card data or uploaded sensitive documents.
Raw credit card information is tokenized for security, so full card numbers are not stored directly in Canary. Due to the nature of the sensitive documents stored in Canary Travel Advisor, we are unable to transmit this in a PCI-compliant manner. You will need to request client credit card details and collect documentation, like passport images or IDs, again with your new sensitive data management solution.
